About Hanji Gifts
Owners, Hyun Suk and Catherine Choi, met in South Korea, while Catherine was teaching English as a Second Language. They fell in love and decided to settle down in Toronto, Canada. Having a great appreciation of tradition, beauty and design, they decided to open Hanji Gifts in November 2011. Hanji Gifts started as an introduction to Korean tradition and design and has developed into a diverse and safe space that offers a wide variety of giftware, papers, stationery, craft supplies, accessories and cards, all carefully picked out for the highest quality and innovative design. While the majority of items sold at Hanji Gifts are imported from South Korea, there are some carefully selected handmade products, that are made locally in Toronto as well. Hyun Suk and Catherine Choi are proud of providing local artists, as well as artists from South Korea, the opportunity to share their creations with the world, through them. Shopping at Hanji Gifts is a truly unique experience.
